I see clients for short term counselling or long-term psychotherapy.

I create a safe environment for my clients to explore their present life challenges or difficulties, and to help them develop an awareness of their own process. Through this awareness clients learn to be more authentic, empowered and take more risks in their relationships with others and understand that they always have a choice. 

During childhood and sometimes later in life, events, situations and things happen that interrupt our process and we become stuck in fixed patterns and beliefs about ourselves that get in the way of life. 

We may feel overwhelmed or isolated at times and find it difficult to cope.

I believe that everyone has the ability and resources to be in rewarding contact with other human beings and to lead a satisfying and creative life. 

I am committed to help my clients become self-aware, as I believe that understanding yourself could quite possibly be the most lasting and liberating experience of your life.

I can help you achieve this by drawing on my sound knowledge and skill, using a number of therapies, depending on your therapeutic needs.

 

These include: Gestalt Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Brief Solution Focused Therapy, Mindfulness and Solution Focused Therapy/Science Attachment.

I also draw on my creative development training to help you focus on the positive end result and not to stay stuck in the past.

To make the most of your personal therapy I suggest you bring a notebook to write down anything that stands out to you during our session that you might want to think more about later. In-between sessions it can be helpful to write down any questions, thoughts and feelings you would like to examine or explore during your next session. Another suggestion is to allow your self some alone time after a session to fully process all that has transpired and what you would like to take action on.

Fees are reasonably priced at $140.00 for individual sessions and $190.00 for couples.

All sessions are between 50 - 60 minutes. If you would like a longer session please mention it at the time of booking.

No referral needed. Medicare and private health rebates do not apply. Payments can be made via card or bank transfer.

If for any reason you need to cancel or postpone an appointment it is necessary to provide 48 hours notice to avoid full payment of fees.
