Online Counselling

Online counselling is a service many clients take part in. Could it be right for you?

Counselling is now more accessible than ever through online options. With secure, encrypted technology, online sessions are as safe for you as face-to-face counselling and offer numerous benefits.

Why you should consider online counselling

You don’t have to travel. Therefore, if you live in a rural or regional area, or if you need to travel by public transport, or you are time poor, you do not have to worry about getting to and from a Counsellor’s office. You stay in the comfort of your own home or another location of your choice to benefit from a counselling session.

You can have your sessions anytime, anywhere that suites you.  If you’re travelling, whether it is for business or pleasure, and something triggers you that you would like to address or work through, you don’t have to wait until you are home to give it your attention

This also extends to accessibility; if you live with mobility or hearing and speech challenges, online therapy allows you to communicate through a variety of modalities, making counselling that much more accessible.

You can access sessions on your phone or your laptop.

You can work with a counsellor of your choosing, not the one closest to you. It’s important that you feel comfortable and build a good connection with your therapist.

Online sessions can feel less confronting. Sharing your thoughts, feelings, fears and hopes with someone isn’t always easy. Online sessions can make it easier to open up and pave the way to healing.

You don’t need any special technical skills or to download any programs, I will send you easy to follow instructions.
